TYRVING

This Tyrving, a sword from the game The Frostrune (PC, Mac, Androind and iOS) that was a price as a part of a competition when the game was launched.

The sword is based on a design from Jake Powning, who worked as a concept artist on the game.

The focus of the game was to create something that was very authentic, so although the sword has some more fantastic design elements, it is made as close to original archeological finds as possible.

The grip is made from bronze with a bog oak grip with silver details and a hollow pommel. In the game the sword is used by an 11 year old girl, so it is also fairly light, below 1kg.

This was a very special project to me since I worked as a developer on the game and is responsible for the programming and game design.
